The public footpath shown in this picture was diverted by the owner without applying for a temporary or permanent diversion. A secondary permitted path was put in place and the definitive line is still open but there is still a concern about the signs pointing to the new path. Any handwritten signs should only say something like ‘Permitted path avoiding yard’. You should continue to use the definitive public footpath. |
